A BUSY FIRST WEEK

Wow! The term has started with a roar! We had 3 teams compete in the EPRO8 technology challenge and had one of the teams achieve 3rd place overall, which was amazing. All 3 teams made us very proud.

We also had a presentation from our HOME and SCHOOL group to our Y8 Leaders. We have a very special group of leaders, who lead the way and are the kindest, most caring, most responsible group of people you could ever meet. We know they will wear their shirts with pride.

Science Fair has already begun in earnest, and the Teachers are team teaching this year, which should lead to even better results than 2016. Can't wait to see the end results.

Perry and Alex were also over the moon this week to be selected for the rep teams for football. Way to go kids.
I also had a lovely surprise this morning when Georgia shared all her sashes, ribbons and medals (and teddy) with me from her success at the New Zealand Champs in Highland dancing. What a talent!

With such a great start I am very excited to see what else we can achieve over the year.

A SCHOOL FULL OF MUSIC

Thank you so much to everyone who supported our disco last week. It was lots of noisy fun. Special thanks to Miss McLay and the Y8 kids for their organisation.

GOOD LUCK to our choir as they perform tonight at the Opera House. Special thanks to Ms Koorey for sharing her talents with us and for leading the way.
