WRSN Speeches

Congratulations to our 3 finalists in the WRSN speech competition last week. They all did an awesome job and made me very proud.  A big thank you to our Head Boy and Deputy Head Girl for doing such an amazing job of hosting the event. Great leadership guys! Finally a special thank you to Robyn Keno for sharing her expertise with us and for judging the event.

WOW!!!!!

Congratulations to Georgia who became South Island Champion for Highland Dancing at the 'Top of the South' Competition in Blenheim last weekend. What a wee superstar she is.
Very proud of her!

QUIZ NIGHT

Thank you to everyone for a really enjoyable evening last night. We made around $700 which will be used to buy literacy resources for the classrooms.
Thank you to everyone for their organisation before the quiz, to the teachers for running the night, and to you for coming along and making it so much fun. We have some truly creative people in our community as you can see from the orange sculptures created!!!
See if you can guess which baby is which staff member - it is quite tricky!
A special thank you to all our sponsors who provided us with some amazing prizes for our raffle and 1st place prize:
Oasis Oamaru,  Oamaru Vets,  McKenzie and Co,  Eenie Meenie,  Daniel Flynn,  The Oamaru Lions,  Temptations,   The Last Post,   Housekeepers,   Subway,   Nailing It Homes,   Waitaki Aquatic Centre,  Hugh Perkins,  Limelight Cinema,   Penguin Colony,  Mean Green Growers,  Scotts, Whitestone City,
Thank you for your generosity

UNIQUE SENIOR PROGRAMME

Our Y8 leaders are very lucky to participate in our unique senior programme which offers development in life skills, careers, sports, giving back to the community, and social skills. Here we can see them giving back with a rubbish collect at the harbour, and developing life skills by preparing lunch for an invited guest. Thank you Miss McLay for organising this great programme.
