A journey through time

Over the last 2 days the senior classes and the junior classes have been having their 'Jump In' experience to give them a taster of what life would have been like for the Early Settlers. We have had experience of a cruel Victorian classroom, dressed up in our finery for family photographs and had fun with our traditional dances.
Over the term we will be exploring family trees and what life was like for those Early Settlers in more depth. Hopefully the children will have more fun than the poor Victorian children did at their schools.

Welcome

Welcome back everyone. I hope you have all had a great Summer and are refreshed and ready for a great 2017.
We welcomed 12 new children today as well as all our old students, which was great. They have all had a settled and fun 1st day and were bursting with energy and lots of ideas. They looked stunning in their uniforms and made me feel very proud to be Principal of such a great school.
We also welcomed Raewyn Perkins who will be sharing Room 2 with Mrs Goodall and Tannah McLay who is teaching in Room 7. Penny Davidson has taken over the role of our cleaner and has worked really hard to make sure the school was spotless for the start of term. They are a great addition to our team.

ARABIAN NIGHTS

What a great way to end 2016! The show went really well and showcased the extraordinary talents of our Ardgowan kids. They can sing, dance and act with style. Thank you to everyone for their support with getting us to showtime and for all your support over the year. Have a great holiday and see you all in 2017.
