Mr. Yipadee
We had a very exciting day today when Mr. Yipadee came to school to share songs and stories with the kids. This was followed by a writers workshop for the Y4 children. Everyone had a great time and we even had a visit from Rudolf - he took time out of his busy schedule to see us.

GARDEN WORKING BEE
Thank you so much to all the people who came along to our second garden working bee this year. Fences were painted, plants bedded in, wood split and stored, 4 square and hop scotch painted, deck water blasted, weeds pulled and flax trimmed. The school is looking great and your support was much appreciated.
Enjoy the rest of this sunny Sunday and see you all tomorrow.

WELCOME TO TERM 4
Welcome back everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful time relaxing and having fun with your family.
Term 4 is 'NO HAT, NO PLAY' so make sure you have your ARDGOWAN hat with you every day. These can be purchased at the Office, if you have lost yours.
Check out the blog each week to see pictures showing the great things that are happening at school. This term we have athletics, swimming, production, passion projects, activator, camps, dance, Christmas projects, letter writing and fractions and decimals and geometry to look forward to. Term 4 is always lots of fun, but also lots of good learning. I can't wait.

SCIENCE FAIR
Wow! What a great science fair. The kids really did a great job and learned so much in terms of knowledge and skills and working as a team. I was very proud of them all. Well done to all the teachers for their encouragement, teaching and support and especially to Ryan Abraham for leading science in the school. Thank you for coming along to the presentation. Have a great holiday everyone.

ROOM 5 CAMP
Our happy campers are now all back from their great adventure in Wainui, near Akaroa.
Lots of fun was had, fears overcome and challenges accepted. The children had flying fox, abseiling, high ropes, orienteering, skits, quizzes, camp fires, a visit to Akaroa and lots of other fun, despite the weather.
Thank you to the Mr Ng for organising it all for the kids and to the parents and bus driver for all their help and sense of fun. The kids were amazing and it was great to spend this special time with them all. Sleep well everyone!
