A MESSAGE FROM OUR HEAD BOY AND GIRL

Hello everyone from Kate and Knoah - your Head Boy and Girl.

Last week we had the nerf battle hosted by the P.A.L.S. It was a big turnout. Thank you to the P.A.L.S for hosting the nerf battle. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Also we had the North Otago zone swimming sports on Wednesday. The students represented Ardgowan really well and made us proud. The swimmers had many wins and very few losses although we didn’t win the relays, we tried our best. There were also smiles and complements. A big thank you to all the helpers, parents, teachers and of course Oamaru Aquatic Centre for such a great day. 

Final swim of term 1

Swimming has gone really well and the children have really enjoyed it and made good progress. Thank you to everyone for their support.

WALK AND WHEEL WEEK

The weather was kind to us this week as we all enjoyed getting some extra fitness at lunchtimes for WALK AND WHEEL WEEK.

WEETBIX TRY-ATHALON

At the weekend 30+ Ardgowan kids arrived in Dunedin to take part in the Weetbix Try-athalon. The sun was shining, the kids were buzzing and they all had lots of fun and competed well. Way to go Ardgowan!

COOL SCHOOLS TRAINING

Mrs Goodall spent the day with the Year 7 and 8 leaders as they had fun learning how to be 'peer nediators'. The instructor was very impressed with the attitude and skills of the kids and Mrs Goodall was very proud of our kids. Take a look.
