ROOM 5 CAMP

Our happy campers are now all back from their great adventure in Wainui, near Akaroa.
Lots of fun was had, fears overcome and challenges accepted. The children had flying fox, abseiling, high ropes, orienteering, skits, quizzes, camp fires, a visit to Akaroa and lots of other fun, despite the weather.
Thank you to the Mr Ng for organising it all for the kids and to the parents and bus driver for all their help and sense of fun. The kids were amazing and it was great to spend this special time with them all. Sleep well everyone!

Ardgowan's Got Talent!

What a wonderful afternoon we have had to celebrate the end of the week. We were treated to a variety of dancers, highland dancers, singers, musicians, karate specialists, the choir and the ukulele group. I was very proud of them all and it was great to see all the talents the kids have and the things they get up to outside of school. Well done to the students in the audience as well, for being super supportive of their school mates and for being so well behaved. Thank you for joining us and have a great weekend.
You are all stars!

Working bee

Thank you so much to everyone who turned out today to support the school working bee. Our chainsaw gang worked long and hard to cut up all the trees whilst our other gang painted the deck and steps, the picnic tables, the hopscotch and the fence in Cody's corner. The new shed now has flooring and shelves for the kids playtime equipment.
What an awesome bunch of people!

KIDS FOR KIDS CONCERT

Tonight our school takes part in the Kids for Kids Concert at the Opera House, fronted by Jacquie Clark. They have worked long and hard to prepare, with guidance from Ms Koorey and are all excited about the event. Congratulations to all our soloists. Way to go kids! Let's hope they raise lots for World Vision and have a wonderful night.
